Calhoun created "Sundance" through two distinctly different lighted drumstick choices - one broad diffused source that created the shaded background, and one highly intense stick that provided fine lines (featured in the canvas' center).

Though abstract, "Sundance" is remarkable for the variety of interpretations and images that can be seen within the visual. For many, they see a figure in the center, a dancer jumping with legs outstretched. For some, that same imagery appears to be a bearded man.

Only 10 pieces of "Sundance" are in the edition. Each measures 48”x 36” in size, all are numbered and individually signed by Will Calhoun.
